Artist Statement: My name is Maya and I am London based surreal collage artist. I create my works by hand using vintage imagery. With a vintage nostalgia, my works explore the social and political issues we face in contemporary society. I also enjoy creating these surreal worlds that can take a viewer to these fantasy places with just a view.

I sell my original artworks and prints all over the world and I have exhibited her work in the most extinguished galleries in Europe including Saatchi Gallery in London. in 2020 I was also short listed for Royal Academy Summer Exhibition which was a massive achievement for me.

I am also shortlisted this year for Royal Academy Summer Exhibition again. which I'm so proud of.
